Big Pulse partners meet up at Torinodanza Festival in October

Big Pulse partners from across Europe converged in the vibrant city of Turin for three days in October – it was a valuable moment to explore the city, experience captivating performances and to connect, reflect and plan future activities.

With gatherings taking place in several historical venues across the city and hosted graciously by the Torinodanza team, Big Pulse partners were treated to a rich experience of Turin’s history and culture. Artistic Directors, Executives, Operations and Communications team members all participated in fruitful discussions, reflecting on the achievements of the Big Pulse programmes so far and what is hoped to be achieved in the final years of the project, as well as beyond to ensure the Big Pulse vision of strengthening and expanding the reach of contemporary dance is realised.

While these meetings were the core purpose that brought everyone together, the moments in between were equally important and appreciated, allowing opportunities for informal catch up, knowledge sharing and laughter with colleagues and friends.

In addition, this gathering as part of Torinodanza Festival brought a chance for partners to witness Big Pulse Artist Silvia Gribaudi perform her latest choreography Grand Jeté which was met with thunderous applause from enthusiastic audiences of all ages. A truly proud moment for Big Pulse Dance Alliance.
