Groundbreaking, daring and surprising. Julidans is the festival for international contemporary dance that inspires connoisseurs and curious minds alike. The next edition will take place from 2 – 16 July 2022 and presents unique choreographers - renowned and unknown - at various locations in Amsterdam.
The international festival Tanz im August, presented by HAU Hebbel am Ufer, is once again showing a full three-week programme with international and local choreographers from different generations. From August 5–27, 2022 a total of 21 productions with around 200 artists from over 25 countries are being shown in 87 performances at HAU Hebbel am Ufer and 6 other venues in Berlin.
Nine dancers, three choreographers and a master builder: Amala Dianor’s new creation brings together a constellation of talents from Mali, Senegal and Burkina Faso. The goal? To celebrate the vitality of a hybrid African dance, decompartmentalised, in perpetual evolution, like the artistic bubbling that animates the whole continent.
City Horses is a city choreography with about twenty female dancers about power, existence and the female body in the public space, a gallop through cities, a living monument in constant motion, celebrating female courage and power of all ages.
